Liberty Claim Pavilion, named after one of the original mining claims in Gold bug Park, is a covered picnic area that is open daily. Other picnic tables are available in the area along the stream bed.
The Liberty Claim Pavilion provides shaded seating for up to 80 people and can be reserved for an event for a $100.00 fee through the Recreation and Parks Department at (530) 642-5232. It must be scheduled so as to not interfere with school tours.
