Owners Eric and Kevin Mendez loved visiting the Apple Hill™ farms and wineries with family and friends but were surprised by the lack of local lodging options, especially for more than two people. Then, they realized there was an opportunity.
The solution? A centrally located vacation property large enough to accommodate eight people comfortably, with everything needed for a memorable weekend.
The two-story house has an open and airy dining area, living room, and kitchen on the top floor, with large windows with a view of the orchards and rolling hills. The top floor also features a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a separate guest bathroom, and laundry facilities.
Downstairs, two bedrooms offer privacy from the communal areas, an excellent option for families with children. The downstairs opens out onto a firepit, horseshoes, and cornhole.
Its three bedrooms feature queen beds and group bunking, sleeping eight. All rooms have individual heating and cooling, allowing guests to keep communal rooms and bedrooms at different temps.
Eric explains, “I wanted a place my friends and I would want to stay on our visits.” The clean lines, modern décor, and ample light create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for anyone seeking a quiet place to enjoy everything El Dorado County offers.
