A longtime holiday tradition is taking a different twist this year as a result of COVID-19. The City of Placerville and the local faith community have created a different version of the Festival of Lights. Called Miracle on Main Street, it’s now a virtual event with a live streaming tree lighting.
The event will also include Christmas caroling favorites, a cameo by Santa, a tribute to law enforcement, and a tribute to veterans.
