Ride the Rails
El Dorado Western Railroad offers rides on vintage Inspection Cars on the historic Placerville Branch of the Southern Pacific Railroad. Every Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm you can take a 30-40 minute ride on the oldest railroad line west of the Mississippi River.

Dry Diggings Distillery is the first of its kind in El Dorado County in a very long time, offering distillery tours and tastings and a complete line of spirits and locally produced gifts for sale. Tours feature the history of El Dorado County, the historical aspects of the tasting room and insights into the distilling process and how Dry Diggings craft their exceptional spirits.
