Remarkable Women of El Dorado Tell Their Stories | October 18, 2025
Save the Graves returns to Placerville Union Cemetery on Saturday, October 18 with theatrical portrayals of prominent but often little-known luminaries in El Dorado County history. Scripted, historically accurate, 10–12-minute performances are repeated throughout the day in the county’s grandest Victorian Garden cemetery.
The theme for 2025 is “Women of Character”, featuring eight notable women who helped shape El Dorado County.
Tickets: $15 Adults, $10 Seniors (60+), Kids 17 & Under Free.
This Save the Graves free event is open to all ages. Limited parking will be available in the cemetery for those needing it. Others, please park on the street and walk in. Likewise, limited graveside seating will be available. Wear sturdy shoes. Terrain is irregular.
