2025 Visitor Guide Cover Photo Contest
Calling all photographers! Love capturing the lifestyle, the beauty, and the culture of El Dorado County? Your photo could grace the cover of the new El Dorado Farm Trails and Visitors Guide – plus earn you a cash prize! All you have to do is enter our photo contest.

Photo Contest Prizes
Three prizes will be awarded, judged by a panel of judges selected by Visit El Dorado.
Grand Prize
- Your photo will be on the cover of the 2025 El Dorado Farm Trails and Visitors Guide, with credit
- $300 cash prize
Second Prize
- Your photo will be included in the 2025 El Dorado Farm Trails and Visitors Guide, with credit
- $200 cash prize
Third Prize
- Your photo will be included in the 2025 El Dorado Farm Trails and Visitors Guide, with credit
- $100 cash prize
Official Rules
- All photos must be taken within El Dorado County.
- Each person may enter a maximum of five photos.
- The photographer must be 18 years or older. The competition is open to the public as well as all El Dorado County employees, partners, and volunteers.
- By entering the contest, you are agreeing to the use of your original photo for Visit El Dorado’s digital communications, website or print publications.
- Visit El Dorado will retain non exclusive rights to all entries
- Any featured photo subjects (people) must have granted permission to be photographed
- Photos must be submitted via the website submission form and include all required contact information.
Final date of submission is February 28, 2025.
The photo selected for the final judging will be featured on the cover of the 2025 El Dorado County Farm Trails and Visitor Guide. Winners will be announced online on our website and social channels by early March.
