The Tilted Crown Boutique
419 Main Street Suite 304
Placerville’s new boutique is in the heart of Main Street near the Bell Tower, but it’s easy to miss. The warm and welcoming boutique is upstairs on the third floor, and it feels like a secret hideaway. (Don’t worry; there is an elevator for those that don’t need to get the steps in!)
This little hidden gem offers one-on-one shopping experiences for women sizes 0-28. You’ll find edgy BOHO fashion, accessories, shoes, and other small gifts for women bundled in a shop with a lot of character. Owner Christina Petanovich recently opened the store in November 2021, though she’s had a strong online presence long before then.

Full of Chic Boutique
617 Main Street Suite A
Be sure to stop by this brand-new shop on the east end of Main Street near the Independent Restaurant. Don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you. Inside, you will find a fun, casually sophisticated boutique with great prices on apparel, new and refinished furniture, home décor, jewelry, and more.
This shopping experience was obviously designed by women, for women, with inclusive sizes and a positive affirmation wall right outside the dressing room! Soon, owners Theresa & Robyn Del Biaggio will launch a community benevolence program through their store called “The Golden Thread,” providing clothing, gift cards, and even furniture for those in need.

Empress Clothing
594 Main St
This eclectic shop has been a staple on upper main street for over 20 years. The building that houses Empress, however, has been there since 1859. If the rock exterior and rich history don’t draw you in, the smell of incense wafting from inside might.
The shop is absolutely captivating with its walls and even ceiling covered in vintage finds, handcrafted delights, bohemian clothing and fabrics, gifts, belly dancing clothes, incense and oils, jewelry and journals, and that’s not all. Empress is the kind of shop where you could spend hours exploring every little nook and cranny. Owner Carolina Williams has put her heart and soul into this shop, and you can tell. This is a Main Street must-see if you are in Placerville.
