Lynn Carpenter – Vice President of Marketing, Visit California
Lynn Carpenter is vice president of Marketing for Visit California. Lynn oversees all of Visit California’s marketing to create desire for the California experience, including advertising, cooperative promotions, digital and interactive, and content strategy.
Lynn steers a marketing budget that has grown from $6 million in 2006 to $126 million today. Under her leadership, Visit California has marketed the state as a place of abundance and opportunity, inspiring millions of visitors each year.
Lynn has more than 20 years of professional marketing experience and extensive knowledge of online technology promotions and brand development. She began her career in the technology industry, serving as Vice President of Marketing at Netscape Communications and AOL Time Warner. She crossed the threshold into the travel industry as Executive Director of Marketing and Sales for Mammoth Mountain Resort.
David Flanigan – Author, Speaker and Entrepreneur
David has been building, branding, and running his own companies since his early twenties. Now a seasoned entrepreneur and the owner of four companies including MISFIT a brand development agency, he presents difficult concepts with surprising clarity in a very refreshing, entertaining, and invigorating style, sharing his unique views on how every company, both big and small, can strategically choose to steer their organizations in an effort to brand, differentiate, and outshine the competition. Author of Butcher, Baker, CandlestickMaker and now his second book Rudder, David has made a significant “bottom–line” impact on thousands of companies across the nation.
Carl Ribaudo – Founder and President of SMG Consulting
Carl is a strategic thinker, thought leader and innovator in the tourism industry. SMG provides marketing research and measurement, marketing strategy and planning, tourism economic analysis and measurement. Most recently he has created programs that assist organizations and destinations with an effective change strategy. He is a trusted advisor to a number of CEO’s and senior executives in the public and private sector and a published writer. He serves on Visit California’s Research and ROI committee and the Travel Nevada’s Tourism Marketing committee.
Eileen Javora Boeger – Former Channel 3 KCRA Meteorologist

Eileen recently ‘retired’ from KCRA-3 in Sacramento after 13 years as an on-air meteorologist. She lives in El Dorado County with her husband Justin Boeger, 4th generation winemaker and co-owner of Boeger Winery, and their two little girls. She is now learning the family business of farming grapes and making wine. She currently blogs for the website www.sacramentovalley.org and manages social media for the Apple Hill Growers.
Dan Keenan – Founder of Hatchback Creative

Dan Keenan is a web developer, graphic designer, brand strategist and founder of Hatchback Creative. He has been creating engaging websites, marketing campaigns, and brand identities in El Dorado County for almost a decade. Dan specializes in working with tourism-based businesses, is a business coach with the Sierra Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and is a member of the Marketing Advisory Committee for the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority. He is a 15-year El Dorado County resident and when he’s not pushing pixels, he can be found outside enjoying one of the many outdoor activities El Dorado County has to offer.

The El Dorado County Visitors’ Authority develops and implements county-wide cooperative and competitive tourism programs that position El Dorado County as a year-round travel destination. This report provides detailed statewide travel impact estimates for California from 2000 to 2017. The report also provides an analysis of transient occupancy tax receipts for local jurisdictions through the 2017 fiscal year
